Roles of a Community Champion |
|
-
To assist in the promotion of the Atlantic Path to their community. This can include family, friends, co-workers and organization/association members.
-
To help the Recruitment Manager disperse electronic information about the Atlantic Path and your event to your community group or personal electronic address book.
-
To help recruit up to 40 people for a day clinic or 20 people for a half-day clinic from your community through encouragement and word of mouth advertising.
-
In some situations, the Community Champion may want to use brochures, posters and local media to spread the word. Our Communications Manager can lend a hand!
-
To organize the emails and mailing addresses of the community booking for the Recruitment Manager so that pre-appointment information can be sent out to make the assessment process more efficient for participants. This will include questionnaires on residential history, employment history, medications, etc.
-
Become a participant! We want you to be a participant too so you can enjoy the day with family, friends or co-workers and continually spread the word about the Atlantic Path!
