Well Water Survey
This week we are sending out a Well Water questionnaire survey to 800 Atlantic PATH volunteers in selected communities on private well water supply. The survey is designed to find out how many people in Nova Scotia routinely test and treat their drinking water and to collect residents' views on the safety and quality of their drinking water. Results of the survey will be used to develop policy recommendations for improved well water regulation and to evaluate options for community intervention in well water testing and treatment. Ultimately we hope that this knowledge will help in the provision of a healthier well water environment for Nova Scotians.
Centres Open in Newfoundland

21,000 Participants!
This week PATH reached a total of 21,000 participants across all four Atlantic Provinces. Our most northerly participants are way up in Flowers Cove, Newfoundland. The most southerly are in Sable River, NS. Due west to Perth-Andover, NB to find the most westerly and to complete the story out most easterly participants are in St John's!
We are coming to you!
We are ahead of schedule on inviting people to local assessment centres across all four Provinces. New participants as well as those who have completed the PATH pack or the On-line questionnaire can go to a local centre and provide biological samples and have some measurements taken.
